'Black' completes 16 years of release; Amitabh Bachchan's heartfelt note praising the film

The megastar will be seen in MayDay, Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and Chehre

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Black featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji, released on 4th February 2005, has completes 16 years today.
 
Taking to his Instagram handle, the megastar dropped a few pictures with Mukerji from the movie and alongside it, he penned a sweet note. In his caption, Amitabh mentioned that the movie Black is a way ahead of its time.
 
“It has been 16 years...since Debraj Sahai. Black...a movie way ahead of its time. Every dialogue, every instance in the movie was so beautifully crafted, that it has engraved its existence in everyone's heart, including mine. #16YearsOfBlack #RaniMukerji #SanjayLeelaBhansali @bhansaliproductions,” he wrote, while celebrating the milestone.
 
Meanwhile, the 78-year-old has many projects in his bag. He will be seen in MayDay, Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and Chehre.
