Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli joined the ‘India together’ drive

Soon after international celebrities and leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, environmentalist Greta Thunberg, Pop singer Rihanna and others raised views on the ongoing farmers' protest in India, Bollywood personalities and Indian players like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sunil Shetty, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar also joined using hashtag '#IndiaTogether'.
Akshay, by sharing Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Anurag Srivastava's note, which stated that the Parliament passed the agriculture reforms after a full debate and discussion. "Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences," the Khatron Ke Khiladi star's tweet read.
Suneil Shetty followed the same and tweeted, captioning there is nothing more dangerous than half truth. "We must always take a comprehensive view of things, as there is nothing more dangerous than half truth," he said.
Ajay Devgn too urged his followers to not 'fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies'."Don't fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies. It's important to stand united at this hour w/o any infighting," he wrote.
Meanwhile, following them, cricket star like Tendulkar wrote, "India's sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let's remain united as a nation. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda."
"Let us all stay united in this hour of disagreements. Farmers are an integral part of our country and I'm sure an amicable solution will be found between all parties to bring about peace and move forward together. #IndiaTogether," said current India skipper Kohli.
