The Delhi High Court had advised late bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh and the filmmakers of the film Nyay: The Justice talk and settle the dispute on Wednesday.
Earlier in April, the late actor’s father had approached the court and requested a stay order on the film's release. But, the court had
dismissed his petition against the movie, which is based on the late actor's life.
As reported by the Press Trust of India, Justice Talwant Singh said while hearing the appeal, “Talk to each other and see if it can be worked out.”
Senior advocate Jayant Mehta who appeared for the late actor’s father Kishore Singh said, “Independent of the proceedings, we will try to resolve."
Advocate Chander Lall, represented on the behalf of the film director said that there was “no intention to take advantage.”
The High Court had issued a notice and also granted a week to the filmmakers of the film to respond to the Kishore Singh's application seeking a stay on further publication or circulation of the film.
Nyay: The Justice, the film is directed by Dilip Gulati and will be produced by Sarla A. Saraogi and Rahul Sharma, starring Zuber Khan and Shreya Shukla in the lead roles. The trailer of the film has been released and it had been mentioned that the film is not a biopic on Sushant but a story inspired by his life by the lead actor.
