Bollywood veteran actor Dilip Kumar who is admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital, is showing signs of improvement said his wife Saira Banu.
The 98-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital after he complained of breathlessness on June 30.
Saira Banu said tweeted from Dilip Kumar’s account that family was grateful that his heath was improving and she requested fans to pray for his early discharge.
Earlier, she told Press Trust of India that Dilip Kumar was stable and is doing much better. He is still in the ICU. She request fans and friends to pray to get him out of hospital hale and hearty.
According to a source in hospital said that Kumar’s breathlessness is under control. Although, he will remain in the hospital for a day or two.
Kumar was earlier hospitalised on June 6 after he had breathing issues and was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusio, a build up of excess fluid between the layers of the pleura outside the lungs.
Reportedly, he underwent a successful pleural aspiration procedure and was discharged on June 11.
