Atlee Kumar has become one of the successful commercial directors in South and he made a hattrick success with Vijay which made him even more famous.
Atlee is gearing up to collaborate with Bollywood's King Khan for his dictorial debut in Hindi films and the project's pre-production work is happening calmly.
Reportedly, the filmmaker is planning to take in popular South Indian actress Nayanthara for the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Nayanthara had already worked with Atlee in Raja Rani and Bigi.
Nayanthara had an amazing pull in the South and also quite popular among many fans in the North. She was last seen in a Tamil comedy Mookuthi Amman.
She is currently waiting for the release of her upcoming Tamil thriller Netrikann, a remake of Korean thriller, Blind which is on hold due to pandemic.
At present, Khan is busy shooting Siddharth Anand’s Pathan for Yash Raj Films also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
Atlee’s project with the Khan is expected to take off by the end of this year or early next year. An official announcement on this project is also expected to be out very soon.
