Vivek Agnihotri made a film from his point of view, it should be allowed: Nawazuddin Siddiqui

"When a filmmaker makes a film, he/she does so from his perspective, with a unique style of viewing things”

The Kashmir files have grabbed immense attention across the country. Tinseltown’s ace actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui also commented on the film and said that it’s the filmmaker’s right to make films according to their point of view.

‘Kick’ actor said that he is yet to watch The Kashmir Files but will soon watch it.

“People are watching it, so I will also watch it,” Nawazuddin said.

He further added, "I have no idea about that. But, every director has a style and point of view for making films. He made a film from his point of view, which is good. Others will also make films from their perspectives, in the future. And, that is great."

As the film is making headlines, Siddique came to defend Vivek Agnihotri and said the film is his brainchild and it is his right to make the film according to his perception only.

"When a filmmaker makes a film, he/she does so from his perspective, with a unique style of viewing things. It should be allowed for any filmmaker to add their perspective even to films based on real incidents. I cannot speak any more on this as I have not watched the film." He added.
