Television actress Munmun Dutta was been trolled for her rumoured relationship with "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" co-star Raj Anadkat and had broke her silence on it with two strong posts on Instagram.
Lately, there were rumors that Munmun who playing the popular character Babita in the series, is dating Raj.
Munmun took to her official Instagram handle on Sunday, to broke her silence on the trolls and the media reports in two separate posts.
The first post was for the public where the actress wrote,"To the general public, I had far better expectations from you. But the FILTH that you have showered in the comment section, even from the so-called 'LITERATE' ones proves how regressive a society we are."
Munmun Dutta added that women are generally "AGE SHAMED", "SLUT SHAMED", "MOM SHAMED", at the cost of netizens' humour.
She further wrote on the same whether it is the humour drives someone to the edge of a mental breakdown or not, is it never a concern.
She said that from past 13 years she is entertaining people and it didn`t take 13 minutes for anyone of tear apart her dignity.
She also said, "So next time someone is clinically depressed or driven to take their own lives, pause and think whether it was YOUR WORDS that drove that person to the edge or not (sic)"
Munmun Dutta concluded the first note, "Today, I am ashamed of calling myself a DAUGHTER OF INDIA."
Following with her next post where she addresses the media saying, "To the media and their zero credibility `journos`, who has given u the right to post `IMAGINARY` `MADE UP` articles in people`s name about their private life without their consent?"
She asked media people that they liable to the damage that which the media have caused to their lives with reckless behaviour of the press.
She wrote quoting media that they even don`t stoped at plunging their cameras on the face of a grieving woman who has just lost her love or lost her son (Sidharth Shukla's death), in a funeral just for trps.
She concluded her second note, "You can stoop to any level to create sensational articles/ headlines at the cost of someone`s dignity, but R U GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WRECKING HAVOC IN THEIR LIVES?? If No then, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!"
After actress strong reaction, Raj also took to his social media handle wrote, "To everyone who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your 'COOKED UP' (false) stories and that too about my life without any consent."
He also requested the creative people to channelise their creativity at other places which would help them.
And, Raj concluded with, "May God bless them with good sense."
