Legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has turned 98. Fans and celebs are pouring in birthday wishes for the veteran actor on social media. He is not celebrating his birthday this year, as he lost his brothers, Ahsan Khan and Aslam Khan, to Covid-19 earlier this year.
 
Shahrukh Khan tweeted “To the one and only, who amazed and inspired the world by just being himself. Wishing the legendary Dilip Kumar a Happy Birthday. I cherish & remember every time we've met in vivid detail & you have always loved me like your own. Love you too much. Have a good one Dilip Sahib.”



 
HrithikRoshan wishes for good health to Dilip Kumar on birthday, he tweeted “Celebrating the legend that Dilip Kumar Ji is! HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY SIR. Warm wishes for your good health, happiness and peace. Thank you for your legacy”.
 
Dilip Kumar was born as Muhammad Yusuf Khan on December 11, 1922, and made his acting debut with the 1944 film 'JwarBhata'. He is best-known for iconic roles in films like 'Devdas '(1955), 'Naya Daur' (1957), 'Mughal-e-Azam' (1960), 'Ganga Jamuna' (1961), 'Kranti' (1981), and 'Karma' (1986). He was last seen on the big screen in 'Qila' in 1998.
 
In 2015 he received India's second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, for his contributions towards Indian cinema. In 1994 he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He had also served as the Sheriff of Bombay by the Governor of Maharashtra, India.
