Bolluwood stars Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi's film Mimi has released four days before its scheduled release date.
The film was set to stream on OTT platform Netflix starting July 30. However, it seems that the filmmakers had decided to advance the release as the film was leaked on pirated websites.
Pirated copies of Mimi in Full HD and 4K quality have emerged on numerous pirate sites and Telegram on Monday.
Lately, Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was also leaked by online pirated platforms.
Mimi is produced by Dinesh Vijan who also spoke about the early release on an Instagram Live session and said that the release is a birthday gift to Kriti.
The actress celebrates her birthday on July 27. The film Mimi is directed by Laxman Utekar also starring Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa as pivotal roles.
The trailer was released earlier this month that revealed Sanon's character that plays the role of a surrogate mother for an international couple when she learns that will receive rupees 20 lakhs for carrying the baby.
The film is a remake of the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy that also won a National Film award. The Raabta actress had also gained 15 kilograms weight.
