Indian equity market benchmarks Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and broader NSE Nifty 50 were trading with losses on Wednesday morning.
BSE Sensex was up 28.67 points or 0.049 percent, hovering around 58,308.15 while broader Nifty 50 was up 2.40 points or 0.014 percent near 17,364.50.
The Broader markets were outperforming indices. Nifty Midcap 50 and the Smallcap 50 were trading on a positive note . Nifty Bank was 0.40 percent higher and India VIX was down with one percent.
IndusInd Bank was up 1.44 percent as the top Sensex gainer, followed by NTPC, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and Dr Reddy’s Labs.
TCS was the top loser on Sensex, down 1.26 per cent, followed by Infosys, Maruti Suzuki India, Bajaj Auto, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra.
In the international market, the US shares were trading mixed and global shares were retreated from record highs on Tuesday.
