Gold Price Today Nears Rs 46,000; silver selling at Rs 62,800

The yellow metal price has continued to remain flat in India on Friday. Gold prices has been under pressure through this week.
 
October gold future was trading flat om Friday at rupees 46,069 on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX).  In the previous session, the gold futures closed at rupees 46,076
 
While silver December futures saw a significant gain on Friday. The precious metal future increased 0.29 percent to rupees 61,254 as compared to its previous session close at rupees 61,077.
 
As per to the Goodreturns website, in Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of 22-carat gold was retailing at rupees 45,750 and rupees 45,380, respectively.
 
While, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is selling at rupees 49,950 in Delhi and rupees 46,380 in Mumbai.
 
In Chennai, the yellow metal was retailing at rupees 43,650 per 10 grams of 22-carat and rupees 47,620 per 10 grams of 24-carat.
 
The price per 10 grams of 22-carat and 24-carat is rupees 45,900  and  rupees 48,600 in Kolkata.
 
In the global market, gold rates have  gained on Friday. Spot gold up at 0.3 percent to USD 1,758.10 per ounce and US gold futures gained 0.2 percent to USD 1,759.50.
