Gold price today surges at Rs 46,620, silver declines

Silver was retailing at rupees 63,000 per kilogram, fell by rupees 200 from the previous trade

 

Gold rates was increased by rupees 400 as per Good Returns website, at rupees s 46,620 of 10 grams of 22-carat gold on Saturday, it was previously closed price at rupees 46,220 per 10 grams.

 

While, the precious silver was retailing at rupees 63,000 per kilogram, fell by rupees 200 from the previous trade.

 

In Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of gold for 22-carat retailing at rupees 46,560 and rupees 46,630, respectively.

 

While 10 grams of 24-carat gold selling at rupees 50,790 in the national capital and rupees 47,630 in the financial hub of the country, Mumbai.

 

In Chennai, 10 grams of 22-carat gold selling at rupees 45,070 and rupees 49,170 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold.

 

The gold rate in Kolkata for 22-carat is rupees 46,960 per 10 grams and rupees 49,660 per 10 grams of 24-carat.

 

The gold rates varies across India due to excise duty, state taxes, making charges and other local taxes.
