Gold prices traded flat; Silver Also Slides

Yellow metal rates were trading flat in India on Wednesday, mirroring global rates

The yellow metal rates were trading flat in the country on Wednesday, mirroring global prices as investors awaiting for a key US jobs report.

 

On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold October futures were trading flat with a negative bias at rupees 47,112 per 10 gram. In the previous session, gold October futures ended at rupees 47,120.

 

While, Silver December futures were ruling at rupees 63,171 per kilogram, fell rupees 195 or 0.31 percent as against the last close at rupees 63,366.

 

Gold price today in Mumbai stands at rupees 46,380 per 10 gram of 22-carat and in Delhi is rupees 46,450 per 10 gram of 22-carat.

 

In Tamil Nadu capital Chennai, gold retails at rupees 44,660 per 10 gram of 22-carat.

 

The yellow metal price in Kolkata is rupees 46,800 per 10 gram of 22-carat.

 

As per the news agency Reuters, in the international market, the yellow metal rates remained steady. Spot gold was firm at USD 1,813.93 per ounce and the US gold futures fell 0.2 per cent to USD 1,815.
