IOC launches app-based doorstep 'Diesel Delivery Services'

This major initiative has been taken to provide door to door service and widen their range of business

Indian Oil Corporation, along with Humsafar India and Okara Fuelogics, has said that they will provide home deliveries of diesel in Mumbai and areas within reach. The  partner companies aim to launch their  doorstep diesel delivery services in various cities which includes Pune, Nagpur, Thane, Nashik, Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai, Solapur, and other cities across the state.
 
At the lunch event, Rajesh Singh, chief general manager (Maharashtra office) of Indian Oil Corporation said,  "The main aim of launching this service in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, JNPT, Panvel and Bhiwandi is to ease the lives of the end-consumers without the hassles of diesel procurement".  He also said that this project is government-approved and is a modern concept of effective distribution of diesel. It will even help to maintain the quality and service of fuel for the users.
 
All the old problems of spillages and dead mileage will now be bypassed which were faced by the bulk consumers of the diesel.  The partner companies, Humsafar and Okara are planning to evolve their business.  They are planning to open the door delivery system to more states like Goa, Karnataka and Gujarat.
