The state-owned fuel retailers have cut the prices of fuel again on Tuesday. The prices of petrol was slash by 11 to 15 paise per litre, and diesel prices has come down by 14 to16 paise for a litre.
In national capital Delhi, petrol rates have been reduced by 15 paise from rupees 101.64 per litre to rupees 101.49 per litre, whereas diesel prices have been cut by 15 paise from rupees 89.07 per litre to rupees 88.92 per litre.
In the financial capital of the country, petrol and diesel rates are at rupees 107.52 per litre and rupees 96.48 per litre respectively.
In Chennai, petrol is retailing at rupeess 99.20 per litre and diesel at rupees 93.52 per litre.
The petrol and diesel sold at rupees 101.82 per litre and diesel rupees 91.98 per litre in Kolkata.
The long price pause came after fuel prices increased for 41 days in the FY2021-22.
These 41 increases have took up petrol rates by rupees 11.44 per litre in the national capital and similarly, diesel prices have increased by rupees 8.74 per litre in Delhi.
