Sensex at record high levels, above 60100, Nifty above 17,800

Domestic share market benchmarks were trading in green on Monday

 

Indian share market benchmarks Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and broader NSE Nifty 50 were trading in the mixed territory on Monday.

 

The 30 share BSE Sensex was trading at 60,021, down by 45.68 points or 0.076 percent and the NSE Nifty was down at 17,836, down at 17.10 points or 0.096 percent.

 

On the sectoral front, Nifty Bank, Nifty Auto, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Realty indices up over 1 percent and Nifty Pharma was tradingat losses.

 

Maruti Suzuki was top Sensex gainer, followed by M&M, State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank, Bajaj-Auto, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Reliance Industries Ltd.

 

Tech Mahindra was worst performer stock in Sensex, followed by Nestle India, Asian Paints, HCL Tech, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Titan.

 

In the international market, the Asian benchmarks, bourses in Shanghai decline over 1 percent in mid-session deals, while Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong equities were trading on a positive side.
