Indian share market benchmarks Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and Nifty50 opened on a flat note on Thursday. After trading in the green, equity benchmarks traded flat.
BSE Sensex was down 19 points or 0.04 per cent to 52,463 while the Nifty was up 0.95 points or 0.01 per cent to 15,721.
Bajaj Auto was the biggest index gainer, rising over 2.22 per cent. Followed by M&M, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors,
Hindalco, Asian Paints and JSW Steel were among other gainers.
IndusInd Bank was the top loser in the Sensex. Followed by Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, Shree Cement, Ultratech Cement and HDFC Bank were among other losers.
On the global side, Asian markets were trading on weak as Japan's Nikkei fell 0.53 per cent and Hong Kong's Hang Seng down 0.57 per cent.
