Indian share market benchmarks Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and broader NSE Nifty 50 were trading at fresh record highs on Friday.
BSE Sensex was trading 432 points or 0.72 percent higher at its lifetime high of 60,317, and broader Nifty 50 soared 113 points or 0.64 percent to its intra-day record of 17,936.
Apart from Nifty Consumer Durables, Nifty Media and Nifty Metal, all the sectoral indices were trading in gains. Bank Nifty was trading up by half a per cent, at 37,940.
Asian Paints was the top Sensex gainer, rising at 4.18 percent, followed by HCL Tech, L&T, TCS, HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra.
Tata Steel was the worst performerat Sensex, falling 2.02 percent, followed by Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), Bajaj Finance, Titan and Reliance Industries Ltd.
While in international market, the Asian indices, bourses in Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong were trading in red, while Tokyo was trading with gains in mid-session deals.
US shares ended with strong gains in the overnight session.
