Sensex, Nifty trade flat in pre-opening amid mixed global cues

Domestic share market benchmarks were dancing between gains and losses on Monday.

Indian share markets bechmarks Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and broader NSE Nifty 50 began trading in the green on Monday, touched higher levels but soon gave up to trade with losses.

 

 

BSE Sensex was trading 20 points or 0.04 percent down at 55,416, while the NSE Nifty slipped 11 points or 0.07 percent to 16,517.

 

Bank Nifty was standing above 36,000 but was slipped with losses. All the roader markets were at the downfall besides, India VIX, which was trading with gains.

 

Tata Steel was top Sensex gainer up 1.07 percent, followed by Mahindra & Mahindra, TCS and Tech Mahindra.

 

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto was down 1.3 percent as the top Sensex loser, followed by Power Grid, Maruti, Titan, Asian paints and Dr Reddy’s labs.

 

In Asian market, bourses in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul were trading in red, while Shanghai was trading with gains in mid-session deals.
