SpiceJet airlines announced on Wednesday that it will start 38 new domestic and international flights during September 15-25.
The airlines in a statement stated that it has launched flights on the Delhi-Surat-Delhi, Bengaluru-Varanasi-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Jaipur-Mumbai, Mumbai-Jharsuguda-Mumbai, Chennai-Pune-Chennai, Chennai-Jaipur-Chennai and the Chennai-Varanasi-Chennai routes.
SpiceJet said it will also resume flights to and from Dubai, that connects with Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Mangaluru, Amritsar and Kozhikode.
SpiceJet's Chairman and Managing Director, Ajay Singh said, "We are happy to announce the launch of 38 new domestic and international flights on our network."
Singh noted that the launch of these new flights is a sign of steady revival and not just for them but for the whole aviation sector after it got hit by the pandemic.
The Chairman Singh also said that the airlines will also be connecting Visakhapatnam with Mumbai, and Udaipur with Chennai
SpiceJet has also launched for the first time in its network, a new non-stop flight connecting Delhi with the capital city of Maldives, Male.
Chairman and MD Ajay Singh said that the airlines expect these routes to do well.
