Yellow Metal Futures Trade Weak On Global Cues ; Silver At ₹ 59,800 per Kg

Gold futures traded flat on Wednesday, mirroring international markets trends

 

 

The precious yellow metal futures in India traded weak on Wednesday, following the trends in global markets.

 

The gold october futures were trading lower by rupees 74 or 0.16 percent at rupees 46,564, as compared to its previous session close of rupees 46,638.

 

While, the Silver December futures were trading up 0.55 percent at rupees 60,769 as against its previous close of rupees 60,439.

 

In Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of 22-carat gold was retailing at rupees 45,650 and rupees 45,330, respectively.

 

In national capital,10 grams of 24-carat gold is retailing at rupees 49,800 and rupees 46,330 in Mumbai.

 

In Chennai, the yellow metal was selling at rupees 43,740 per 10 grams of 22-carat and rupees 47,720 per 10 grams of 24-carat.

 

While in Kolkata, the price is rupees 48,250 per 10 grams of 24-carat and rupees 45,560 per 10 grams of 22-carat.

 

On the other side, the internal gold price were trading flat. Spot gold was trading lower at USD 1,775.63 per ounce and US gold futures saw a fall of 0.1 percent to USD 1,776.30.

 

The US Federal Reserve meeting is expected to conclude today and investors will shift their aim on new signals when narrowing may roll out.
