VK Paul, the head of National COVID Task Force has said that they are awaiting for final certification on Covaxin vaccine for children.
VK Paul also said that the top priority is to vaccinate all the adults citizens of the country and vaccine supply is not an issue now.
The Covid Task Force chief on Sunday had said that the central government will take a final decision on vaccinating children against the noble Coronavirus on the basis of overall scientific reasons as well as the supply situation of vaccines.
Paul has warned that even though Covid-19 infections is decreasing and the intensity of second wave calming, it will be unfair to say that the worst is over since alot of countries has seen more than two waves of the pandemic.
Presently, three covid vaccines including Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V is being administered across the country and are only for those who above 18 years of age.
