India, became the worst sufferer in the second wave of coronavirus, where it seen people are struggling for basic medical facilities like beds and oxygen and also it seen rise in mortality rate.
Now in sigh of relief India is seen decline in coronavirus cases, as it recorded 1.86 lakh new cases of infections across the country in the past 24 hours, which lowest in the last 44 days. The total caseload now stands at 2,75,55,457 according to the Health Ministry bulletin showed on Friday.
The Active caseload also declines to 23,43,152as active cases decrease by 76,755 in last 24 hours. Though the cases has declined the total death toll in the country has reached 3,18,895.
As of now 2,59,459 patient were recovered during the last 24 hours and the recovery rate has also increased to 90.34% and a total of 2,48,93,410 patients have recovered in the country so far.
India has tested 33,90,39,861 samples for Covid-19 until now, out of these, 20,70,508 samples were tested on Thursday which shows decline in positivity rate as compare to previous record.
Meanwhile ministry had administered a total of 20.57 crore vaccine doses so and total 20,57,20,660 people vaccinated.
But still, all states and union territories have been asked to extend the Covid-related guidelines till 30 June in order to fully contain the spread of virus.
