Popular bollywood actress who turned politician, Urmila Matondkar was tested positive for the Covid-19 infection.
Matondkar took to her official Twitter account on Sunday morning to inform her followers of the health situation and also told them about being tested positive for Covid-19.
She tweeted, “I've tested positive for #COVID19 I'm fine n have isolated myself in home quarantine. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately. Also humbly request all you lovely people to take care of yourselves during the Diwali festivities (sic).”
Matondkar has also informed that she is fine now and is presently in home quarantine as well as encouraged all the people who came into contact with her to be checked at the earliest.
She even urges people to take care of their own-selves during the Diwali festivities.
The actress turned politician's followers were spotted sending 'get well soon' comments soon after she tweeted her health update on the social media platform.
Actress Urmila Matondkar is popularly known for her roles in the films like ‘Rangeela’, ‘Judaai’, ‘Kunwara’, ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Dillagi’ and others. She is married to Mohsin Akhtar and was last seen in the Marathi film ‘Ajoba’in 2014. Subsequently, she made a cameo in a 2018 song ‘Bewafa Beauty’ from the film ‘Blackmail’.
