Didi will go on May 2: Modi at Bankura rally

Meanwhile, Amit Shah assured people that BJP would make the state free of infiltrators if voted to power.

Launching a stinging attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Didi will go on May 2. Won’t let her kick out development in Bengal.

While speaking at an election rally in Bengal’s Bankura district, he added, "Asol paribartan’ will come to ensure that the benefits of central schemes reach the poor. We will also ensure that extortion, syndicate raj and corruption come to an end.”

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday assured the people of Bengal that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would make the state free of infiltrators if it's voted to power in the forthcoming Assembly elections.

He also warned that the saffron party would take action against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for its "wrongdoings".

During an election rally in West Bengal's Egra, Shah said, "Didi gave the slogan of 'Maa, maati, manush' but did change come? Can she give you freedom from infiltrators? We will make Bengal free of infiltrators in five years."

The Union Home Minister is expected to release the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections later today.
