The CBSE board exams 2021 would begin for classes 10 and 12 from May 4 while the practical exams will begin from March 1, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct classes 10 and 12 exams from May 4 to June 10 next year, Practical examinations will be conducted from March 1. The results of the board exams will be announced by July 15.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal  had announced "The board exams for class 10 and 12 will be conducted from May 4 to June 10. Schools will be allowed to conduct practical exams from March 1. Date sheet for both the classes will be issued soon. The results will be declared by July 15,"

Schools across the country were closed in March owing to the on-going pandemic. In some states they were partially reopened from October 15.Also owing to the pandemic situation several schools have already conducted pre-board exams online to keep the students prepared. Though, a few states have decided to keep school closed in view of a upsurge in the number of infections.

The board exams this year had to be postponed mid-way in March. They were later cancelled and the results announced on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme. There are several concerns that could be raised. The rising coronavirus, awaiting for vaccine had raised tension, and it is upto the time to say if everything will be normal by that time. The 30% reduction also can led to the affect the overall learning of the students. Also many students don’t have proper accessibility of internet or devices to attend the classes.

As per as PTI report “The CBSE had earlier this month announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.”

Earlier, the CBSE had released the syllabus for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 and has reduced the syllabus of all subjects up to 30%. The details of the reduced syllabus are provided online and the CBSE has suggested students to check the reduced syllabus wile preparing for the Board exams 2021.

It is expected that CBSE will release CBSE Admit Card 2021 for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2021 after the board will release CBSE Date Sheet 2021 for 10th & 12th. It is to be noted that the admit cards for CBSE regular students are provided by schools, while private students of CBSE have to download their admit cards from the official website. But it seems that some changes would be seen this year due to coronavirus pandemic.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam datasheet would be available for download on the official website of CBSE (cbse.nic.in) after the announcement of datasheet by Union Minister Pokhriyal.
