In a heinous act, a 67-year-old man allegedly sexually assaulted his neighbour’s female dog after luring it to his house in Sohna area of Haryana’s Gurugram near Delhi. Following a complaint, the accused was arrested.
The sexagenarian's neighbour Mukesh has two pet dogs – a female and a male. On September 28, Suresh (the accused) allegedly lured the female dog to his house. Later, Mukesh realised that the canine was missing. “I [Mukesh] came out and found Bhuri (the female dog) missing. The canine’s bark led him to Suresh’s house. He saw Suresh engaging in unnatural sex with his dog. He filmed the act on his mobile phone.
Mukesh lodged a police complaint in connection with the matter. He even submitted the video evidence against the accused. Police registered a case under Section 377 (whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature) of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. He was arrested and lodged in Bhondsi jail.
