Agra: Black fungus cases reappear in recovered patients

Currently they have been provided with anti-fungal treatment.

In a latest update, at least nine cases have come up from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra with reports of black fungus in patients who have recovered from it earlier.

 

According to the district in-charge for black fungus treatment Akhil Pratap Singh, overall 83 patients were reported for the disease in the past two months. In which 41 were cured from the infection and were called for a check-up after 15 days.

 

In the MRI test, nine people were showing the symptoms again. Currently they have been provided with anti-fungal treatment.

 

The treatment is being done at the Sarojini Naidu Medical College. All the patients have their age above 40 years and have also been infected with COVID-19 previously.
