The national carrier, Air India will start its first non-stop air service between Hyderabad and London Heathrow.
The first Air India flight arriving in Hyderabad on September 9 and will be departing for London the next day, on September 10.
The Air India announced on Wednesday that the flight will operate twice a week that is Monday and Friday.
The national carrier said that Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 256 seats, including 18 in Business Class and 238 in Economy Class configuration will start its non-stop service between Hyderabad and London.
The depart AI 147 will operate from Hyderabad on Mondays and Fridays and the total air time on this route will be 10 hours and 30 minutes.
While, the return AI 148 flight will be operating on Sundays and Thursdays. The total flight time on this route will be 9 hours 20 minutes.
The total air time also depends on the wind speed and other conditions on that particular day of boarding.
Presently, the airlines administers non-stop flights to London from 9 cities including, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Panaji, Amritsar, Kochi and Ahmedabad.
