BBMP issued guidelines for Durga Puja

The Idols should be sanitised thoroughly before installation in the pandals

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) issued guidelines for citizens celebrating Durga Puja. The authorities said that organizers would be allowed only one idol, which will be installed in every ward and the idol should not be more than 4ft in height. The Idols should be sanitised thoroughly before installation in the pandals.

 

It is also told that puja organizers should ensure that not more than fifty people will be present at a time during prayers, not more than hundred people at a time during darshan and a maximum of ten people during Debi Boron or Visarjan.

 

The safety precautions, including mandatory thermal screening and sanitisation of all visitors, must be done. Sanitiser should be placed in various places at the pandal.

 

All the items like chairs, tables and floor should be sanitised at least 4-5 times a day and all the safety norms for Covid-19 must be displayed at the premises.
