Delhi Metro to provide free Wi-Fi on Yellow Line

The service in Delhi starts from today

The Delhi Metro authorities are trying to enhance the travel experience for its commuters and has successfully introduced the facility of free high-speed wifi service from all Metro stations of its Yellow Line. The service in Delhi starts from today.

 

The service is launched on this line which consists of thirty-seven metro stations and runs mostly underground through one of the most busy parts of Delhi.

 

Officials said that more than 330 access points had been installed by them at these thirty-seven stations to provide uninterpreted internet access to the commuters. It is expected by the authorities that this High-Speed Free Wi-Fi Service will prove to be a special help to students travelling to and from North Delhi Campus of Delhi University.

 

The users will be able to use standard internet applications like Google Search, Email, Facebook, WhatsApp, Video and Audio calls etc. They had to simply log into network ID “OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi".

 

The process of involves :

 

1) You have to select "OUI DMRC FREE WIFI " on your phone.

 

2) Then you have to enter your phone number and email ID to get OTP by SMS.

 

3) In the next step, enter the OTP which you receive and then accept terms conditions and tap connect button to enjoy free Wi-Fi.
