Delhi Railway Station gets world-class Executive Lounge

Indian Railways launches world-class Executive Lounge at New Delhi Station.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched its new Executive Lounge on the first floor of New Delhi Railway Station,Platform Number 1, towards Paharganj side.

 

This is the second executive lounge opened by Indian Railways after the first executive lounge that has already been in operation since the year 2016 on ground and immediate floor at Platform Number 16.

 

Presently, e-ticketing is already operating executive lounges at railway stations of Jaipur, Agra, Sealdah, Madurai and Ahmedabad.

 

The executive lounge is similar to airport lounges with much more space and calm environment.

 

To ease the passengers’ entry to the new lounge, a capsule elevator has been installed.

 

IRCTC is offering access to the executive lounge with a nominal entry fee of rupees 150 plus taxes per hour and an amount of rupees 99 for each extra hour of stay.

 

The entry charges comes with several services like comfortable seating facilities, complimentary beverages, books & magazines, Wi-Fi internet facility in a fully air-conditioned environment with channel music alongside live television channels.
