Devotees prepare for Dashami in Bangladesh

Bijoya Dashami is the special ceremony of Hindus which brings peace and good relations among people

Durga Puja, one of the biggest festival of the Hindus and will now finally come to an end on Friday with immersion of the Maa Durga across the Muslim-majority country Bangladesh.
 
The Bijoya Dashami will be observed in high tension among the Hindu community as clashes sparked by rumours at a Comilla temple and in different districts and has left many people killed and injured between Wednesday and Thursday.
 
Bijoya Dashami is the special ceremony of Hindus which brings peace and good relations among people. In this year, the religious festival is being celebrated in around 32,118 puja mandaps throughout the country Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka.
 
In the capital, devotees will visit the Buriganga River on Friday to observe the final phase of the festival the immersion of the idol of Maa Durga.
 
As per information, there will be strict security measures in place so that the idol immersion takes place peacefully.
