Fire breaks out at Delhi's Dwarka

A total number of eight fire engines rushed to the spot to extinguish the flames.

Around 7:25 in the morning a massive fire broke out at the Krishna Hotel in Delhi’s Dwarka with several people being trapped inside. Officially two bodies had been recovered after two hours battling with the incident.

 

According to an eyewitness, there was a short circuit in the midnight but the electricity was back after half an hour. When he woke up at 7 am, he found huge plumes of smoke inside the hotel and a fire on the ground floor and reception area.

 

A total number of eight fire engines rushed to the spot to extinguish the flames. Dwarka South police station received a complaint in the morning which reported that some people were trapped inside the hotel building which was being run by Oyo Rooms. Forensic and a crime investigation team has also reached the spot.
