A massive fire broke out at the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Hospital in Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area on Wednesday afternoon. According to news agency ANI, the blaze started on the third floor of the hospital.
Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. Meanwhile, all patients have been evacuated safely from the hospital, ANI reported.
A Delhi Fire Service official said no injury has been reported so far in the incident.
"A call was received around 1.16 pm that a fire broke out on the third floor of ESI Hospital in Punjabi Bagh area," said Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service.
According to Garg, the blaze started in a block of the hospital where non-COVID patients were undergoing treatment.
