Uttarakhand Director General of Police Ashok Kumar informed that as of now 19 bodies had been recovered so far, but over 150 people are still missing.

To take stock of the situation, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Monday, visited the spot and announced Rs 4 lakh financial assistance each for the families of those killed in the mishap.
