Humsafar Express back on track

It will resume its services from July 24 along with some other special trains.

 

With COVID-19’s second wave approaching India, a lockdown 2.0 was imposed with a lot of travel restrictions. As the number of cases are reduced railways are back running on their trains.

 

The special train in the Western railways area which is a double decker named ‘Humsafar Express’, is back to being running between Bandra Terminus to Gujarat’s Jamnagar.

 

A tweet was done from Western Railways official Twitter account posting the schedule of the train. It will resume its services from July 24 along with some other special trains as well on the route.

 

This superfast train will depart from Bandra terminus on Monday/Thursday and Saturday at 11:55 PM reaching Jamnagar at 4:25 PM the next day. The other will depart from Jamnagar on Tuesday/Friday and Sunday at 8:00PM reaching the Bandra end at 9:30AM the next day.

 

It will be halting at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot and some more.

 

This train has all 3-tier AC coaches which was announced in the 2016 railway budget by then the minister of railways Mr. Suresh Prabhu.
