I-core Ponzi scam case: CBI summons TMC Minister Partha Chatterjee

Partha has been asked to appear before the agency's CGO complex on 15 March.

The probe heat is on Partha Chatterjee in Ponzi scam case as the Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned to the TMC Secretary general and senior West Bengal Minister.

Partha has been asked to appear before the agency's CGO complex in Kolkata on 15 March. The education minister has confirmed that he has received the summon, but whether he will be going or not is not confirmed.

Like Saradha and Rose valley chit fund scam companies, I-Core raised money from public by several fraudulent schemes that were floated by it.

Meanwhile, CBI on Friday issued summons to the husband and father-in-law of Maneka Gambhir, who is the sister-in-law of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, for questioning on March 15 in connection with the coal scam. Earlier, the probe agency had also issued summons to Maneka Gambhir in connection with the case.

After rebellions and anti-incumbency more fire fighting for the Trinamool Congress are ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections.

With all the chaos occuring just ahead of the elections, the response of the TMC is quite predictable as they are going to accuse Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of misusing the investigative agency.

So, TMC's line is pretty simple which even didi keeps talking about that everytime the saffron party feels threatened or anyone questions them, all they do is take out their machinery and attack their opposition party.
