India Scanner launches its first news portal in English

India Scanner has launched its news portal on 20th December 2020, in a unique way to show respect to the healthcare and the frontline workers in the COVID -19 pandemic, India. COVID-19 has affected the life and health of more than 1 million people across the world. This overwhelms many countries’ healthcare systems, and, of course, affects healthcare providers such as nurses fighting on the frontlines to safeguard the lives of everyone affected. India Scanner shared joyful moments with the healthcare workers of Woodland hospital, Kolkata on its launching day. 


 
 Among all the corona warriors, the most visible, yet most underappreciated, are the policemen in India. India’s police agencies have risen to the challenge, despite limited resources and a risk to life. India Scanner shared some happy moments with the policemen of North Port Police.
 
 On its launching day, India Scanner seeks blessings at Balaji and Ganpati temple, Chennai.  


 
 India Scanner also shared foods and good wishes to the poor children and elderly people at Sutanati ghat on the bank of Hoogly river to celebrate launching its news portal. “we will give voice to the voiceless in India,” said India Scanner Editor-in-Chief, Nilanjan Dasgupta. Consulting editor and senior journalist Jayanta Guha said, “India Scanner will deal only with hard facts rather than philosophy”.
