India to evacuate nearly 180 people from Kabul today

As per the sources, the military aircraft is carrying roughly around 180 people is likely to reach Delhi on Thursday morning

 

Around 180 people are expected to be evacuated from Kabul to India in a military aircraft on Thursday.

 

According to the sources familiar with the developments said that various countries across the world continues to hastened to evacuate their citizens before the deadline of August 31 for the withdrawal of US troops from the country.

 

They said that the military aircraft is carrying roughly around 180 people is likely to reach Delhi on Thursday morning.

 

They added that those being evacuated include Indians and also a number of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus.

 

India as part of the mission 'Operation Devi Shakti' has so far evacuated over 800 people after the Taliban insurgents took over Afghanistan and the Ashraf Ghani government break down.

 

Since the revival of Taliban rule in Afghanistan, the Kabul airport has been packed as thousands of Afghans have been desperately trying to get out of the country.
