Internet service suspended in South Kashmir

Reports said that Internet services have been suspended in south Kashmir as Pakistan is observing ‘Kashmir solidarity day’

The internet services have been suspended in South Kashmir, as a precautionary measure, the internet have been suspended as Pakistan is observing ‘Kashmir solidarity day’, according to a statement by officials.
 
A police officer told reporters that internet services have been suspended in South Kashmir as “Pakistan is spreading propaganda by observing 'Kashmir Solidarity Day' on February 5. To stop this propaganda, the government blocked the internet in South [Kashmir],” according to his statement.
 
The officer added that there is no information on the restoration of internet services in South Kashmir. This is not the first time, Jammu and Kashmir records highest number of mobile and broadband and internet suspension. Last year ahead of the abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state into two Union Territories, for more than two both mobile and broadband internet has remained suspended in the Valley, in order to constraints the spread of misinformation.
