Japan start-up unveils world's first hoverbike priced at Rs 5.1 crore

This hoverbike is currently open for bookings and is set for deliveries in the first half of 2022

 

A Japanese company, A.L.I Technologies has unveiled the world’s first hoverbike, the Xturismo Limited Edition,which is priced at Rs 5.1 crore.

 

The company worked on the prototype of the Xturismo Limited Edition since the year 2017 and claimed it to be the next generation of mobility which enables free movement in 3D space.

 

This hoverbike made with whole new technologies has been created targeting the rich and the famous. This hoverbike is currently open for bookings and is set for deliveries in the first half of 2022.

 

The Japanese startup company says that it will not only be a new means of transportation, but also a significant icon on air mobility. They said that it can fly for 40 minutes at up to 100kmph and it is powered by a conventional engine and four battery-powered motors. It consists of a motorcycle-like body on top of propellers and rests on landing skids when stationary.

 

They are currently planning to produce only 200 hoverbikes of the XTurismo Limited Edition. It was also designed in a way that will help during rescue operations as the hoverbike would be able to reach those areas where accessing the location is tough via land route.
