Kolkata Metro adds ten more services for Durga Puja

The authorities has already made the metro authorities increase services along the north-south corridor

During the festive season, Kolkata Metro will add ten more services from Monday. It will be taking the total number of trains to 266. It will be the highest since it resumed services after the lockdown.
 
Because of the ongoing rush of among people before Durga Puja, the authorities has already made the metro authorities increase services along the north-south corridor.
 
On 15 September, metro had added ten services on weekdays to take the total number of services to 256 and now from Monday, there will be 266 Metro services daily which will lead to 133 trains in each direction. The metro will run at five minute intervals during peak hours from Monday to Friday.
 
In details, 167 will run between Dakshineswar and Kavi Subhas instead of the present number of 148 and the services will start at 7.30am and end at 10.30pm.
