LG Manoj Sinha inaugurates 44 digital village centres in Jammu & Kashmir

This initiative will enable government to circulate its programme & policies through a readily available system.

Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurates 44 digital village centres in the state on 20 July.

 

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that a new era of development has started in the Union Territory which took a giant leap towards inclusive development.

 

Manoj Sinha also said,"Today, 44 panchayats, 40 blocks have been dedicated to the people in the form of Digital Village Centres and arrangements have been made to reach out with all the online schemes of the government."

 

This initiative will enable government to circulate its programme & policies through a readily available system.

 

Earlier, the lieutenant governor had given out small commercial vehicles to youth under the 'Mumkin' scheme of the Mission Youth program in a distribution event held at SKICC here.

 

He highlighted the need to guide and channel the youth energy and said that the UT administration is running many programs for livelihood generation, skill development and youth engagement under Mission Youth scheme and other entrepreneurial & self-employment schemes.
