Ludhiana: 200 bullets found buried on Sahnewal school campus

In a surprising development, a worker found 200 bullets buried on the campus of a government school in Pawa village in Ludhiana, while he was digging the land for making a recharge pit. Sahnewal Police lodged an FIR and initiated an investigation regarding the bullets.
 
According to sources, the bullets are foreign made and were brought from any other place. The police officials suspects that they had come with the scrap imported from bay countries.
 
The bullets were found by a MGNREGA worker named Harmel Singh who belongs from Raiyan village. He informed the contractor, Gurmukh Singh who made called the police.
 
The contractor said the construction of toilets at Government High School, Pawa, was going on and while digging, labourers noticed a sack and after opening it, they found 200 rusty bullets in it.
 
As per the police, the bullets were buried three or more years ago. Police has placed  the case under Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered.
