Opposition MP turns back from Ghazipur border

We all support farmers, we request the government to hold talks with farmers and justice is done to them: NCP MP Supriya Sule

Around 15 MPs from nearly 10 opposition parties including the SAD, DMK, NCP and the Trinamool Congress, who were on their way to meet protesting farmers at Ghazipur border near Delhi were stopped by the police from proceeding further towards the protesting ground.
 
These team includes NCP MP Supriya Sule, SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal and DMK MP Kanimozhi; among those who were part of the delegation. "We are on the way to meet farmers. We all support farmers, we request the government to hold talks with farmers and justice is done to them," Sule said on her way to the protest site. "We are here so that we can discuss this issue in Parliament; Speaker is not letting us raise the issue. Now all the parties will give details of what is happening here," Harsimrat Kaur said.
 
They were, however, stopped from going to the protest site and were turned back by the Delhi Police. The farmers’ protest already gain international outage with some Indian celebrities supporting while other opposing it. Meanwhile Delhi Police has filed an FIR against the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg for spreading disharmony.
