Worshipping Mata Kalaratri destroy the vicious effects of planets in one's life and brings happiness

The seventh day of Shardiya Navratri is also called as Maha Saptami. Devotees from all across the country will be worshipping Mata Kaalratri.
 
This Durga Maa's incarnation is believed to remove the darkness and negativity from the lives of people.
 
Mata Kaalratri also represents the purity, divinity and feminine power. Her name is divided into two parts 'kaal' which means death and 'ratri' for night.
 
In Hindu mythology, it is stated that when Mata Parvati gave up her golden avatar to create her Chandi avatar to kill the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha, she began to be called as Kaalratri.
 
Worshipping Mata Kalaratri destroy the vicious effects of planets in one's life and brings happiness.
 
In spite of her fiery disposition, the Goddess blesses her devotees with whatever they seek from her and removes obstacles and sorrows.
 
This form of Durga Maa is destroyer of all bad spirits, and happens to be the most dangerous as well as the most auspicious.
 
The Vidhi for this Maha Saptami puja is to sit in puja with pure mind and body. Devotees who will be worshipping kanya puja will be fasting today.
 
The materials required for the Mata pujan includes Ganga Jal, dry fruits, panchamrita, flowers, lamp, incense sticks, rice, etc. Then complete the puja with reciting the Kaal Raatri mantra.
 
Puja Mantra :  "Om Devi Kalaratryai Namah
Ekaveni Japakarnapura Nagna Kharasthita।
Lamboshthi Karnikakarni Tailabhyakta Sharirini॥
Vamapadollasalloha Latakantakabhushana।
Vardhana Murdhadhwaja Krishna Kalaratrirbhayankari॥
Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Ma Kalaratri Rupena Samsthita।
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah॥"
 
Puja Bhog : Devotees should offer jaggery or dishes made out of it to Mata Kaalratri.
