Two tribal girls gang-raped in Jharkhand

One of the accused commited suicide due to fear of arrest


Police officials informed that two tribal girls in Jharkhand's Gumla district were allegedly abducted and gang-raped by ten boys when the two girls were returning home from a Dussehra fair.


As per reports, one of the accused commited suicide due to fear of arrest. The police have caught one of the accused while intense search are going on for the rest of the people. They even informed that the victims are minors. The complaint filed by the girls with the police stated that the incident took place on 15 October.


When the girls were returning from the fair, ten youths were following them on the deserted road and they stopped the girls near a forest. The youths beat the brother and took the girls with them and then the accused youths raped the two girls.


Meanwhile, the brother reached his village and brought the villagers with him back to the forest to rescue his sisters. After seeing the huge crowd, the accused fled the scene.The victims were later sent for medical examination.
