India crossed the three-crore mark on total Inoculation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has planned to schedule a meeting with State Chief Ministers via video conference on Wednesday, over growing cases of COVID-19 in the country and the ongoing inoculation drive.

According to sources, the meeting was necessitated as India’s coronavirus tally has seen a hike with three states - Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab - accounting 75% new cases.

On the vaccination front, India crossed the three-crore mark on total Inoculation and the meeting will also go into how to speed up this process.

A similar meeting between the PM and CMs was last held in January this year ahead of the rollout of coronavirus vaccines.
