Bollywood actress Tabu turns fifty

Tabassum Fatima Hashemi popularly known as Tabu, turns 50 today. She was born on November 4th, 1971. She has appeared in many films of various languages which includes Hindi, Telugu, Malyalam, English, Tamil, and Marathi.

 

The fans wished her on Twitter and shared her gorgeous pics with memories of some of her memorable moments and performances from the past.

 

She made her debut in the year 1982 film 'Bazaar'. She is one of the most well-known performers in the industry and has starred in a number of memorable roles over the course of her three-decade career.

 

She acted in many iconic songs one of which 'Ruk Ruk Ruk' in Vijay path to her recent role in Haider as Gazala. She amazed us all.

 

Tabu has received six Filmfare Awards including a record-breaking four Critics' Choice Awards for Best Actress and two National Film Awards for Best Actress.

 

She was also honoured with India's fourth highest civilian honour, The Padma Shri by the government in 2011.

 

Her first famous role was in Dev Anand's Hum Naujawan in the year 1985, while her first main role was in the Telugu film Coolie No. 1.

 

In Bollywood, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 1994 for the Hindi action movie Vijaypath.
